The Boston Bruins have had their way with the New York Rangers during the past few seasons, and they'll try to continue their domination when the Original Six rivals play in this week's Wednesday Night Rivalry game (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, TVA Sports) at Madison Square Garden.
The Bruins haven't lost to the Rangers in regulation since New York's 4-3 victory at MSG on March 2, 2012. Since then, the Bruins have won six times in regulation and gotten a point by getting past regulation in the other two games between the teams. That doesn't include Boston's five-game victory against the Rangers in the second round of the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Bruins' only visit to Manhattan this season is a matchup between two of the NHL's hottest teams. Boston finished January on an 8-1-1 run that included a 3-0 victory against the Rangers at TD Garden on Jan. 15. New York has won two in a row and is 16-4-0 in its past 20 games.
