Predators' Rinne to start Thursday against Ducks
The Nashville Predators have reassigned goalie Marek Mazanec to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League, the team announced Wednesday.

Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne will start Thursday against the Anaheim Ducks, coach Peter Laviolette said Wednesday.

It will be Rinne's first game since Jan. 13 when he sustained a knee injury.

"I feel really good," Rinne said, according to the Predators website. "I feel 100 percent and feel ready to go. It's never a good time to be injured but I'm feeling good."

Rinne and Carter Hutton were the only goalies at Predators practice Wednesday; goalie Marek Mazanec was re-assigned to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League.

Rinne leads the NHL with 29 wins despite missing the past eight games.

In Rinne's absence, Hutton went 4-1-2 with a .902 save percentage.
