PHILADELPHIA -- The Tampa Bay Lightning lost defenseman Victor Hedman and center Tyler Johnson because of lower-body injuries during a 7-3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday.

Coach Jon Cooper said he was unsure if either player would be available for the Lightning's game Tuesday at the Boston Bruins.

"[Johnson] is our leading scorer and [Hedman] is our leading scoring defenseman," Cooper said. "You pull any of those guys out of your lineup it's going to hurt. We'll see how we adapt. This happens to teams; it's happened to us before. We've been through it. You don't like to go through it but we have. And we'll respond."

Hedman sat out the final two periods. He was a minus-1 on eight shifts totaling 6:56 in the first period.

He has five goals, 20 points and a plus-10 rating in 25 games, and leads the Lightning with an average of 22:21 of ice time per game.

Johnson last played with 8:27 left in the second period. He had an assist and was a minus-1 in 9:24 of ice time. Johnson, who was named to the 2015 Honda NHL All-Star Game on Saturday, entered play tied for sixth in the League with 45 points.
