Kings' Pearson, Toffoli out indefinitely: report
Los Angeles Kings rookie Tanner Pearson is out indefinitely with a fractured fibula, according to LAKingsInsider.com.

Los Angeles Kings rookie Tanner Pearson is out indefinitely with a fractured fibula, according to LAKingsInsider.com.

Pearson was injured after crashing feetfirst into the end boards midway through the second period of the Kings' 5-4 shootout loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday. His legs bent back awkwardly and he left without putting any weight on his left leg.

Pearson's 12 goals are tied with Justin Williams and Tyler Toffoli for second on the Kings. He was one of six rookies selected to perform in the 2015 Honda NHL All-Star Skills Competition on Jan. 24 in Columbus.

Toffoli, Pearson's linemate, is out with mononucleosis, and there is no timetable for his return.
