Bill Arnold scores in overtime to lead Flames with come back win over Marlies

GLEN FALLS, N.Y. - Bill Arnold scored 1:36 into overtime as the Adirondack Flames edged the Toronto Marlies 3-2 in American Hockey League action on Wednesday.

Corban Knight tied the game for Adirondack (20-13-2) on a penalty shot late in the third period. Max Reinhart opened the scoring on the power play for the Calgary Flames affiliate.

Spencer Abbott and Brad Ross replied back for Toronto (13-15-5), the Maple Leafs' farm club.

Joni Ortio turned aside 22 shots for Adirondack while Christopher Gibson took the loss after facing three shots in extra time. Garret Sparks made 35 saves for the Marlies through 60 minutes.

The Flames scored once on six power-play chances while Toronto went 0 for 3 with the man advantage.
