Bruins recall Caron, place Fraser on waivers
Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, December 28, that the club has recalled Jordan Caron from Providence and placed forward Matt Fraser on waivers.

Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, December 28, that the club has recalled Jordan Caron from Providence and placed forward Matt Fraser on waivers. Caron joined the Bruins for the team's practice at TD Garden on Sunday.

Caron has skated in two games this season for Boston. In total, the 24-year-old has competed in 125 games for the Bruins, notching 12 goals and 16 assists for 28 points. Caron has also skated in nine NHL postseason games for Boston, where he has tallied one goal.

The forward has played in 23 games for the Providence this year, racking up nine goals (second on the team) and 10 assists for 19 points (third on the team) with a plus-three rating. In his AHL career, Caron has skated in 134 games with Providence, posting 36 goals and 42 assists.

The 6’3”, 204-pound Sayabec, Quebec native was drafted by the Bruins in the first round (25th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
