Kings place Regehr on IR, recall Schultz from AHL
The Los Angeles Kings have recalled defenseman Jeff Schultz from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League and placed defenseman Robyn Regehr on injured reserve.

The Los Angeles Kings have recalled defenseman Jeff Schultz from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League and placed defenseman Robyn Regehr on injured reserve, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

The 6-6, 222-pound native of Calgary, Alberta, has appeared in 399 career NHL games, all with the Washington Capitals. He has posted 75 points with a plus-78 rating and 133 penalty minutes. He appeared in seven postseason games last year with the Kings, going scoreless.
