HALIFAX - Connor Moynihan scored a power-play goal 3:47 into overtime, and assisted on two goals in regulation to lift the Halifax Mooseheads to a 3-2 win over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Wednesday.
Cavan Fitzgerald and Danny Moynihan also scored power-play goals for the Mooseheads (16-14-3), who led 2-0 heading into the third period.
Aaron Kerr had a goal and an assist for the Titan (9-22-4), while Mark Trickett scored at 11:37 of the third period to tie the game.
Halifax goaltender Kevin Resop made 39 saves for the win. Acadie-Bathurst's Jacob Brennan stopped 26 shots in the loss.
The Mooseheads were 3 for 6 on the power play while the Titan failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
