Ducks recall Bryzgalov, Heatley from AHL
The Anaheim Ducks recalled goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov and forward Dany Heatley from the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League on Monday.

The Anaheim Ducks recalled goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov and forward Dany Heatley from the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League on Monday and reassigned forward Chris Wagner and goaltender Jason LaBarbera to Norfolk, according to the team website.

Bryzgalov was in the AHL on a conditioning stint after signing a one-year contract last week. A second-round pick (No. 44) by Anaheim in the 2000 NHL Draft, his last appearance in a Ducks jersey came Nov. 7, 2007 against the Arizona Coyotes, who claimed Bryzgalov off waivers nine days later.

Heatley had been loaned to the Admirals for conditioning after he came off injured reserve. He has six shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in four games for the Ducks this season.

LaBarbera is 2-0-1 with a 2.61 goals-against average and .909 save percentage in five games for the Ducks this season.

Wagner is scoreless in two NHL games this season.
