Michael Bournival scores two to lead AHL Bulldogs over Marlies 4-2

TORONTO - Michael Bournival scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Hamilton Bulldogs in a 4-2 victory over the Toronto Marlies in American Hockey League action on Saturday.

Charles Hudon had a goal and two helpers for the Bulldogs (11-10-2) and Daniel Carr also scored.

Josh Leivo racked up two points on a goal and an assist for the Marlies (7-13-2), while Spencer Abbott opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 3:17 of the first period.

Hamilton goaltender Joey MacDonald turned aside 28 shots in picking up his sixth win of the season. Marlies netminder Christopher Gibson, meanwhile, made 20 saves in the losing effort.

The Bulldogs were 1 for 5 on the power play. Toronto scored once on three chances with the man advantage.
