Jets' Lowry faces Player Safety hearing Thursday
Jets' Adam Lowry faces hearing Thursday with Department of Player Safety.

Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry will have a hearing Thursday afternoon with the Department of Player Safety after an incident with Buffalo Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta in a game Wednesday night at First Niagara Center.

Lowry was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding Kaleta with 5:54 left in the second period.

The Jets won the game 2-1.

The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: boarding. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
