The NHL will feature its own float navigating the streets of Manhattan during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2014 in New York, with former NHL stars John LeClair and Pat LaFontaine riding along.
The parade kicks off Thursday at 9 a.m. ET on NBC, and is the start of the NHL's Thanksgiving events. The float, Frozen Fall Fun, will feature Tom Turkey facing shots from some lucky kids, while LeClair and LaFontaine cheer them on.
Also on the float will be the Madden Brothers, Joel and Benji, of the popular band Good Charlotte. Providing the entertainment for the float, the Madden Brothers will be performing their hit song "Dear Jane."
The Thanksgiving lineup continues on Friday with the Discover NHL Thanksgiving Showdown when the New York Rangers take on the Philadelphia Flyers in the Wells Fargo Center at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.
