The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled forward Phillip Danault from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Danault, 21, has 10 points (3G, 7A) in 14 games with Rockford this season. The Victoriaville, Quebec, native registered a season-high three points (1G, 2A) on Oct. 31 at San Antonio. He has compiled 38 professional points (9G, 27A) in 98 career games over portions of four seasons, all with the IceHogs. Danault was one of Chicago’s first-round selections (26th overall) in the 2011 National Hockey League Draft.
