Bobrovsky back at practice with Blue Jackets: report
Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky practiced Thursday for the first time since breaking a finger Oct. 27, The Columbus Dispatch reported.

Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky practiced Thursday for the first time since breaking a finger Oct. 27, The Columbus Dispatch reported.

Coach Todd Richards would not rule out Bobrovsky and center Artem Anismiov (concussion), who practiced for the second straight day, playing Friday against the Philadelphia Flyers, though it seems unlikely.

"I need to bring my confidence on the glove side back," Bobrovsky told the newspaper. "I need to feel the puck and feel confident, get my focus on 'Stop the puck' and not my hand. That's the most important thing."

Bobrovsky has missed seven games, all losses, with the injury. Anisimov has been out for six games after being injured Oct. 28.

The Blue Jackets have lost nine in a row.

The report said injured forwards Matt Calvert (upper body) and Jack Skille (upper body) skated Thursday but will not travel to Philadelphia.
