BERGERON LEADS BRUINS TO FIFTH STRAIGHT

Patrice Bergeron recorded a season-high three points (1-2-3) and rookie Seth Griffith's no-look, between-the-legs goal (WATCH ) stood up as his first career game-winner in the Bruins' fifth consecutive victory, a 4-2 win against the New Jersey Devils. With the win, Boston earned a sweep of their four-game homestand (4-0-0) and have now won four straight at home for the first time since a five-game stretch from March 4-17, 2014.

* Bergeron extended his point streak to four games 2-4-6 and leads the Bruins with nine assists this season.

* Carl Soderberg scored his fifth goal and leads Boston with 13 points (5-8-13) this season. Reilly Smith also pitched in with a multi-point effort (1-1-2).

FAULK, WARD PUSH CANES PAST FLAMES

The Carolina Hurricanes scored four consecutive goals, led by a career-high three point night (1-2-3) from defenseman Justin Faulk, in a 4-1 win against the Calgary Flames. Cam Ward made 22 saves in victory and has now won five consecutive starts. Overall, the Hurricanes are on a six game point streak (5-0-1).

* Jeff Skinner (1-1-2) recorded his 100th career NHL goal. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, at 22 years, 179 days he is the fourth youngest in Hurricanes/Hartford Whalers franchise history to reach the mark behind Sylvain Turgeon (21 years, 15 days), Ron Francis (22 years, 9 days) and Geoff Sanderson (22 years, 65 days).

JAGR CONTINUES TO CLIMB RECORD BOOK

Devils forward Jaromir Jagr scored his 708th career NHL goal to tie Mike Gartner for sixth place on the all-time list (WATCH ). He did so while playing in his 1,488th NHL game, passing Wayne Gretzky (1,487) for sole possession of 17th all-time.

Flames captain Mark Giordano (0-1-1) extended his point streak to seven games (4-8-12). He leads all NHL defensemen in assists (14) and points (19). … Giordano, Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson and St. Louis Blues right wing Vladimir Tarasenko have been named the NHL's "Three Stars" for the week ending Nov. 9. … The Department of Player Safety fined Stars forward Antoine Roussel for punching an unsuspecting opponent, San Jose Sharks defenseman Justin Braun. … The Bruins wore special camouflage jerseys during warmups and honored military members, veterans and their families at puck drop during Military Appreciation night. The Hurricanes also held a ceremony featuring U.S. Army veteran Daniel Hackley firing up the warning siren before the game.
