Fast, 22, was scoreless in three games after breaking training camp with the Rangers, but had a goal and nine points in 11 games with Hartford, including a six-game point streak and points in seven of his past eight games.
Malone, who cleared waivers last week, was scoreless in six games and a healthy scratch in the Rangers' past three. He has six shots on goal and 14 hits.
Recalled from Hartford on Nov. 2, Allen played four games for the Rangers. Defenseman John Moore is eligible to play Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins after serving a five-game suspension for an illegal check to the head of Minnesota Wild forward Erik Haula on Oct. 27.
