Fabbri, Bertuzzi, Suter combine for 18 points in Storm's rout of Knights

GUELPH, Ont. - Robby Fabbri scored three goals and assisted on three more as the Guelph Storm routed the London Knights 9-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.

Tyler Bertuzzi had two goals and five assists while Pius Suter added three goals and two assists as the Storm scored the last four goals of the game and turned a close contest into a rout.

Ben Harpur scored the other goal for Guelph (9-7-1) and added two assists.

Mitchell Marner had two goals and an assist for London (12-7-0), while Michael McCarron scored the other two goals.

Justin Nichols stopped 25 shots for Guelph.

Michael Giugovaz started for the Knights but was relieved after giving up five goals on 17 shots in one period of play. Tyler Parsons stopped 18 of 22 shots in relief.

The Storm scored on six of 12 power-play chances, while London was successful on three of nine attempts with the man advantage.

SPIRIT 5 RANGERS 4 (OT)

KITCHENER, Ont. — Nick Moutrey scored twice — including 43 seconds into overtime — as Saginaw slipped past the Rangers.

Dylan Sadowy, Mitchell Stephens and Tye Felhaber also scored for the Spirit (9-8-1).

Brandon Robinson led Kitchener (9-3-5) with a pair of goals while Frank Hora and Max Iafrate added the others.

GENERALS 6 PETES 1

OSHAWA, Ont. — Michael Dal Colle struck twice and Tobias Lindberg had a goal and two assists as the Generals thumped Peterborough.

Stephen Desrochers, Anthony Cirelli and Chris Carlisle also scored for Oshawa (14-2-1) while Ken Appleby made 34 saves for the win.

Josh MacDonald scored the lone goal for the Petes (5-8-3).
