Krug could return Monday for Bruins, Warsofsky out
There's a chance Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug can return Monday against the New Jersey Devils at TD Garden.

Boston Bruins defenseman David Warsofsky will miss 2-4 weeks with a groin strain, the team announced Sunday. Warsofsky was injured in Boston's 5-2 win against the Edmonton Oilers on Nov. 6.

In addition to Warsofsky, defensemen Zdeno Chara (knee), Torey Krug (finger) and Kevan Miller (shoulder) are on the injured list. Krug, however, has been practicing since Friday and there's a chance he can return Monday against the New Jersey Devils at TD Garden.

"Yeah, definitely," Krug told the Bruins website after practice Sunday. "It's realistic, it's something that we've just got to talk about and make sure I feel comfortable with it, the coaches feel comfortable, and it's going to be a group decision.

"I feel good. I'm feeling more comfortable. Every time I'm on the ice I feel better about it, so it's good so far."

Center David Krejci (undisclosed) did not practice Sunday and is questionable for Monday. Krejci missed two games with the injury before returning last Thursday.

"He's day-to-day, we'll leave it at that," coach Claude Julien said, according to the Bruins website. "He's still going through the same thing."

Krejci has missed a total of five games this season.
