TORONTO - Daniel Winnik took part in this morning's Maple Leafs practice after being held out of two games over the weekend because of concussion protocol.
Winnik fell head first Thursday night in Toronto's game at the Colorado Avalanche and left the game.
Afterward, coach Randy Carlyle and other players reported Winnik was walking around and doing fine.
Despite that, Winnik did not skate with his teammates over the weekend and did not play against the New York Rangers or the Ottawa Senators.
At the Leafs' first practice back after a day off, Winnik skated on left wing of the second line alongside Nazem Kadri and David Clarkson.
