Crosby sets up 5 goals, Penguins rout Sabres 6-1 for 7th straight win

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Sidney Crosby had five assists, and the Pittsburgh Penguins earned their seventh straight win with a 6-1 rout of the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night.

Patric Hornqvist and Kris Letang had two goals each for the Penguins, and Evgeni Malkin and Roberto Bortuzzo also scored goals. Letang and Chris Kunitz both added two assists.

Zemgus Girgensons scored the only goal for the Sabres, who lost their third straight and fell to an NHL-worst 3-11-2.

It took only 1:21 for Crosby to continue his mastery of the Sabres. He recorded a point against the Sabres for a 19th consecutive game when he made a behind-the-net feed to Letang for the game's opening goal.
