Flyers defenseman Manning returned to AHL
The Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday returned defenseman Brandon Manning to Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League.

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Brandon Manning was sent to Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League, the Flyers announced Wednesday.

Manning, 24, had one assist in two games with the Flyers. He was a healthy scratch Tuesday against the Edmonton Oilers as veteran Carlo Colaiacovo made his Philadelphia debut.

In six AHL games this season Manning has one goal, four assists and a plus-2 rating.
