TARASENKO LEADS BLUES TO FIFTH STRAIGHT WIN
Vladimir Tarasenko scored a highlight reel, one-handed goal, added an assist and notched the shootout clincher to lead the St. Louis Blues to their fifth straight win, a 4-3 shootout decision against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Tarasenko now has 6-2-8 in his past four games and leads his team in goals (7) and points (13) this season. The game was a back-and-forth affair with each team leading on two separate occasions (including the Blues' shootout clincher).
* The Blues have won eight of their past nine trips to Madison Square Garden (8-0-1), and haven't lost in regulation there since Jan. 20, 1998.
