The New Jersey Devils placed forward Marty Havlat on injured reserve Monday with a lower-body injury.
The move is retroactive to Oct. 21, when Havlat last played against the New York Rangers. He has one goal and three points in five games this season.
General manager Lou Lamoriello said he expects Havlat and forward Jordin Tootoo, who is on IR with a foot injury, to be skating by the end of the week.
"They're both coming along," Lamoriello said via the Devils official Twitter account.
Forward Mike Cammalleri was absent from practice Monday and getting X-rays on his jaw after taking an elbow in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Dallas Stars on Friday. Cammalleri played the following night in a 3-2 overtime win at the Ottawa Senators. He is day-to-day and it hasn't been decided yet if he'll travel with the team for a game Tuesday at the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Forward Reid Boucher was at practice Monday skating on a line with Adam Henrique and Michael Ryder. Boucher has one goal and four points in six games this season with Albany of the American Hockey League.
