TORONTO - Eric Tangradi had a pair of goals and Joey MacDonald made 19 stops as the Hamilton Bulldogs defeated the host Toronto Marlies 4-1 on Friday in American Hockey Legaue play.
Sven Andrighetto and Nathan Beaulieu also scored for the Bulldogs (2-0-2), who broke out to a 3-0 lead after 40 minutes of action.
Greg McKegg put the Marlies (3-3-0) on the board early in the third period. Antoine Bibeau kicked out 22-of-25 shots in defeat.
Hamilton went 1 for 6 on the power play while Toronto scored once on three chances with the man advantage.
