Ducks' Maroon out four weeks with knee injury
Anaheim Ducks left wing Patrick Maroon will miss the next four weeks with a sprained medical collateral ligament, according to the Ducks.

Anaheim Ducks left wing Patrick Maroon will miss the next four weeks with a sprained medical collateral ligament, according to the Ducks.

Maroon, who has three assists in three games, was working the top line with center Ryan Getzlaf and right wing Corey Perry. The Ducks re-signed Maroon to a three-year contract in August after he scored 29 points in 62 games with Anaheim in 2013-14, his first full NHL season.

The 26-year-old had seven points and 38 penalty minutes in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Ducks originally acquired Maroon from the Philadelphia Flyers, along with David Laliberte, for Danny Syvret and Rob Bordson in 2010.
