Stars assign forward McKenzie to Texas
Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned left wing Curtis McKenzie to the Texas Stars

Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned left wing Curtis McKenzie to the Texas Stars, Dallas' development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

McKenzie, 23, posted a goal in Texas' season-opening game Saturday night against Iowa. In 2013-14, he won the Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Award, given to the AHL's most outstanding rookie, and was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team leading all AHL rookies with 65 points (27-38=65) in 75 games played. He added 14 points (3-11=14) in 21 postseason contests helping Texas win their first Calder Cup.
