Heatley scores 48 seconds into 1st game with Ducks, Andersen makes 27 saves in 4-0 win

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Dany Heatley scored in the opening minute of his first game with the Anaheim Ducks, helping them beat Colorado 4-0 in one of two split-squad games with the Avalanche on Monday night.

Heatley, who signed to a one-year, $1-million contract after spending last season with Minnesota, skated on the top line with Corey Perry — giving centre Ryan Getzlaf a 50-goal scorer on each side. Heatley accomplished the feat in back-to-back seasons with Ottawa (2005-06 and 2005-07). Perry did it in 2010-11 when he was the league's MVP.

Rickard Rakell, Ben Lovejoy and Brandon Bell also scored for the Ducks. Getzlaf had two assists and Frederik Andersen made 27 saves.

Heatley and Rakell scored on Anaheim's first two shots at Reto Berra, who finished with 26 saves.
