Blues sign forward Fraser to one-year contract
The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Colin Fraser to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Friday. Financial details were not disclosed.

The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Colin Fraser to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Friday. Financial details were not disclosed.

A third-round pick (No. 69) of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2003 NHL Draft, Fraser, 29, spent the past three seasons with the Los Angeles Kings and their American Hockey League affiliate in Manchester.

He had one goal and one assist in 18 Stanley Cup Playoff games in 2012 when the Kings won their first championship. He had no points in three playoff games for the Chicago Blackhawks when they won the Stanley Cup in 2010, their first championship in 49 years.

In 358 games with the Blackhawks, Edmonton Oilers and Kings, Fraser has 20 goals, 58 points and 290 penalty minutes. He has one goal and four points in 39 playoff games.
