Krejci signs six-year contract extension with Bruins
Boston Bruins center David Krejci has agreed to a six-year, $43.5 million contract extension, WEEI reported Wednesday.

The Boston Bruins signed forward David Krejci to a six-year contract extension worth an annual NHL salary-cap charge of $7.25 million, the team announced Thursday.

Krejci led the Bruins in scoring last season with 69 points (19 goals, 50 assists) and an NHL-best plus-37 rating. He had a season-best seven-game point streak, spanning from Oct. 12-26, when he had two goals and 10 assists. In 80 games, the 28-year-old had 18 multipoint games.

A second-round pick (No. 63) in the 2004 NHL Draft, Krejci has 378 points (110 goals, 268 assists) in 504 games, all with the Bruins. He helped Boston win the Stanley Cup in 2011, when he had 23 points (12 goals, 11 assists) in 25 postseason games.

Krejci is under contract with the Bruins through the 2020-21 season.
