Jordan Subban was asked to do something unique in the practice-ending shootout Tuesday.

Did he ever.

The Vancouver Canucks defenseman prospect scored an alley-oop goal against his brother Malcolm Subban, a Boston Bruins goalie prospect, at a preseason conditioning camp in Toronto.

"That was the first time I tried it; we just made it up as we went along," Jordan told the Canucks website. "We were told to have fun and do something silly, like the NBA dunk contest, so I guess that was my inspiration."

Jordan skated in pirouettes as he approached the goal to receive an airborne pass. He smacked it cleanly past Malcolm, receiving 10s across the board from the judging panel.

"Everyone was nervous, so I wanted to do something to ease everyone," Jordan said. "I asked Nick Paul (an Ottawa Senators prospect) if he could toss me an alley-oop pass, while I spun and tried to knock the puck out of the air."

What was Malcolm's reaction?

"He just complained about it being a high-stick," Jordan said.
