Ryan Bourque agrees to contract with Rangers
Restricted free-agent forward Ryan Bourque and the New York Rangers agreed to terms on a contract, the team said Friday.

Restricted free-agent forward Ryan Bourque and the New York Rangers have agreed to terms on a contract, the team said Friday. Length and financial terms were not disclosed.

Bourque, 23, comes off his best American Hockey League season, scoring 21 goals and 37 points in 74 games for the Hartford Wolf Pack. He has 35 goals and 66 points in 196 AHL games with the Wolf Pack and Connecticut Whale.

The Rangers chose Bourque in the third round (No. 80) of the 2009 NHL Draft. He is the son of Hockey Hall of Famer Ray Bourque.
