Pirri agrees to two-year contract with Panthers
Center Brandon Pirri and the Florida Panthers have agreed to terms on a two-year contract.

Center Brandon Pirri and the Florida Panthers agreed to terms on a two-year contract, the team announced Wednesday. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Pirri, 23, had 13 goals and 25 points in 49 games with the Panthers and Chicago Blackhawks last season. The center was acquired by the Panthers from Chicago on March 2. In 21 games with Florida he had seven goals and seven assists.

Pirri has 13 goals and 27 points in 56 NHL games with Chicago and Florida. The Toronto native was chosen by Chicago in the second round (No. 59) in the 2009 NHL Draft.
