The Minnesota Wild re-signed forward Jason Zucker to a two-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.
Zucker has a two-way contract this season and a one-way in 2015-16.
The 22-year-old had five points (four goals, one assist) and a plus-2 rating in 21 games with Minnesota last season. He also had 13 points (eight goals, five assists) in 22 games with the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League.
Zucker underwent successful surgery on March 25 to repair a tendon in his left quadriceps and missed the remainder of the season. He is expected to be fully recovered for the start of training camp in September.
Zucker has 12 points (eight goals, four assists) in 47 NHL games, all with the Wild. He was selected by Minnesota in the second round (No. 59) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
