Lee, Ness accept qualifying offers from Islanders
The New York Islanders have signed forward Anders Lee and defenseman Aaron Ness.

Forward Anders Lee and defensemen Aaron Ness accepted their qualifying offers from the New York Islanders, the team announced Friday. Terms of their contracts were not disclosed.

Lee, 24, was New York's sixth-round pick (No. 152) at the 2009 NHL Draft. He had nine goals and five assists in 22 games for the Islanders last season, and 22 goals and 41 points in 54 games for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

A second-round pick (No. 40) of the Islanders in 2008, Ness played 20 games last season and had a goal and two assists. He had 20 points (six goals, 14 assists) in 48 games for Bridgeport.
