Sabres get Samuels-Thomas in trade with Jets
The Buffalo Sabres have acquired the rights to forward Jordan Samuels-Thomas from the Winnipeg Jets in a trade for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft.

The Buffalo Sabres have acquired the rights to forward Jordan Samuels-Thomas from the Winnipeg Jets in a trade for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft.

Samuels-Thomas, 24, was a member of the Quinnipiac University team that lost the 2013 NCAA Frozen Four final to Yale. He had 58 points (30 goals) in two seasons with Quinnipiac.

He also played two seasons at Bowling Green University.

Thomas was the 203rd pick of the 2009 draft by the Atlanta Thrashers.
