The Ottawa Senators have re-signed forward Dave Dziurzynski to a two-year, two-way contract

The Ottawa Senators on Thursday re-signed forward Dave Dziurzynski to a two-year, two-way contract and signed veteran defenseman Aaron Johnson to a one-year, two-way contract.

He last played in the NHL in 2012-13, scoring two goals in 12 games.

Johnson, 31, had four goals and 40 points last season playing for the Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' AHL affiliate. He has 17 goals and 62 points in 291 NHL games for the Boston Bruins, Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Edmonton Oilers and New York Islanders.

Quote of the Day

It's not always going to be pretty, especially against a great goalie [Lundqvist] like that. My goals are never how you draw them up. It's just a matter of grinding it out and trying to create havoc in front and good things happen.
