Blackhawks agree to terms with Cumiskey
The Chicago Blackhawks signed defenseman Kyle Cumiskey to a one-year contract.

The Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday agreed to terms with defenseman Kyle Cumiskey on a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Cumiskey, 27, played the past two seasons with MODO in the Swedish Hockey League. He ranked fifth among defenseman last season with 28 points (four goals) in 45 games.

A seventh-round pick (No. 222) of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2005 NHL Draft, Cumiskey has nine goals and 35 points in 132 NHL games.
