Flyers re-sign forward Akeson to one-year contract
Restricted free-agent forward Jason Akeson signed a one-year, two-way contract to remain with the Philadelphia Flyers. Financial terms of the contract were not released.

Restricted free-agent forward Jason Akeson signed a one-year, two-way contract to remain with the Philadelphia Flyers. Financial terms were not released.

Akeson had an assist in his only regular-season game in 2013-14 and had two goals and an assist in seven Stanley Cup Playoff games.

He had 64 points in 70 games with the Flyers' American Hockey League affiliate, the third straight season he's led the Phathoms in scoring.
