The Ottawa Senators signed forward Carter Camper to a one-year, two-way contract Wednesday. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Camper, 25, split last season between the American Hockey League's Providence Bruins and Springfield Falcons, scoring 12 goals and 51 points. He played in 41 games with Providence before being traded from the Boston Bruins organization to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Feb. 7. He completed the season by playing 19 games with the Falcons. In five playoff games with Springfield, he had one goal and four assists.
Camper played in three NHL games with the Bruins in 2011-12 and scored one goal.
