Kings sign Cracknell, Van der Gulik for one year
The Los Angeles Kings signed right wing Adam Cracknell and left wing David Van der Gulik to one-year contracts Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Kings signed right wing Adam Cracknell and left wing David Van der Gulik to one-year contracts Tuesday.

Cracknell, 28, had two assists in 19 regular-season games with the St. Louis Blues and one goal in five Stanley Cup Playoff games.

In parts of four seasons with the Blues, Cracknell had six goals and 16 points in 65 games.

Van der Gulik, 31, had three shots in two games with the Colorado Avalanche, and 22 points in 33 games with the Lake Erie Monsters, the Avalanche's American Hockey League affiliate.

In parts of five NHL seasons with the Calgary Flames and Avalanche, Van der Gulik has two goals and 13 points in 48 games.
