Bruins add executive Ferguson, promote two
The Boston Bruins on Friday hired John Ferguson as executive director of player personnel. In addition, Scott Bradley was promoted to assistant general manager and Ryan Nadeau to director of hockey operations.

The Boston Bruins on Friday hired John Ferguson as executive director of player personnel.

In addition, Scott Bradley was promoted to assistant general manager and Ryan Nadeau to director of hockey operations.

Ferguson, 46, served as vice president and general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2003-08 and more recently was a scout for the San Jose Sharks.

Bradley is in his 21st season with the Bruins, serving for the past five as director of player personnel.

Nadeau is in his 11th season with the Bruins, serving for the past eight in the hockey operations department as director of hockey administration.
