Forward Iiro Pakarinen agreed to terms Monday on a two-year, entry-level contract with the Edmonton Oilers.
Pakarinen, 22, scored 20 goals and added 10 assists in 60 games with HIFK Helsinki this season.
The 6-foot-1, 194-pound wing also represented Finland at the 2014 IIHF World Championship, and had three goals and a plus-8 rating in 10 games, helping Finland earn a silver medal.
A native of Suonenjoki, Finland, Pakarinen has represented his country twice at the World Junior Championship (2010, 2011), with two goals and five points in 12 games.
Pakarinen was a seventh-round pick (No. 184) by the Florida Panthers in the 2011 NHL Draft.
