Oilers, Pinizzotto agree to terms on one-year contract
The Edmonton Oilers on Thursday agreed to terms with center Steven Pinizzotto on a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Edmonton Oilers on Thursday agreed with center Steven Pinizzotto on a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Pinizzotto, 30, appeared in six games with the Oilers in 2013-14 and had two assists and 15 penalty minutes. The 6-1, 200-pound forward split the season between the San Antonio Rampage and Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League, and had 25 points (12 goals, 13 assists) and 183 penalty minutes in 51 games.

A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Pinizzotto has appeared in 18 NHL games with the Vancouver Canucks and Oilers.
