Ottawa Senators sign forward Max McCormick to entry-level contract

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators have signed forward Max McCormick to a two-year entry-level contract.

The native of De Pere, Wis., recently completed his third season with the Ohio State Buckeyes, scoring 11 goals and establishing new collegiate career highs in assists (24) and points (35) in 37 games.

Ottawa selected McCormick in the sixth round, 171st overall, of the 2011 NHL draft.
