Le Lightning accorde un contrat de trois saisons à l'attaquant Tyler Johnson

TAMPA, États-Unis - Le Lightning de Tampa Bay a accordé un contrat de trois saisons au centre Tyler Johnson.

L'équipe a annoncé la nouvelle vendredi.

Selon le réseau CBC, la valeur du contrat serait de 10 millions $ US.

Johnson et son coéquipier Ondrej Palat sont parmi les finalistes pour l'obtention du trophée Calder, remis à la recrue par excellence de la dernière saison. L'autre finaliste est l'attaquant de l'Avalanche du Colorado Nathan MacKinnon.

Johnson a établi un record d'équipe pour une recrue avec 24 buts. Il a également récolté 26 aides et a compilé un différentiel de plus-23.
