What next? Penguins facing bumpy off-season after another playoff collapse

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Pittsburgh Penguins have plenty of questions but few answers heading into what promises to be an eventful off-season.

The Metropolitan Division champions lost to the New York Rangers in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals Tuesday night. Pittsburgh led the series 3-1 but collapsed over the final three games.

The loss marks a fifth straight season without a trip back to the Stanley Cup finals for the Penguins and could put coach Dan Bylsma's job in jeopardy.

The winningest coach in franchise history has struggled during the playoffs. All five of Pittsburgh's post-season defeats over the last five years have come to lower-seeded teams.
