LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks are trying to treat every playoff road game as a business trip, even when that trip is only 30 miles on a bus.
The Ducks are spending a few days at a downtown Los Angeles hotel during their second-round series against the Kings. After winning Game 3, Anaheim hopes to even the series with a victory Saturday night at Staples Center.
Captain Ryan Getzlaf says the top-seeded Ducks are living on the road to stay focused on their post-season task. It's important to maintain the proper urgency against the post-season-tested Kings, who have won 31 playoff games in the last three years.
The Kings let Anaheim back in the series Thursday, but they're still in position to seize control in Game 4.
