Mitchell, McGinn score 19 seconds apart as Storm beat Battalion in Game 3

GUELPH, Ont. - Zack Mitchell tied the game at 19:30 of the third period and Brock McGinn scored the winner 19 seconds later as the Guelph Storm stole Game 3 from the host North Bay Battalion 4-3 on Tuesday in the Ontario Hockey League final.

Tyler Bertuzzi and Robby Fabbri also scored for the Storm, who lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.

Dylan Blujus, Barclay Goodrow and Mathew Santos scored for the Battalion, who blew three one-goal leads.

Guelph's Justin Nichols made 23 saves for the win while North Bay's Jake Smith kicked out 40-of-44 shots in defeat.

Both clubs went 1 for 2 on the power play.

The Battalion will try and even the series when they host Game 4 on Wednesday.

Quote of the Day

You don't see many. The [Drew] Doughtys, the [P.K.] Subbans, those are guys that create offense from the back and then on top of that ability, the size that he has. In the West you play against some pretty big players, and being able to clear the crease and contain the [Ryan] Getzlafs and the [Corey] Perrys and [Anze] Kopitars and players like that, we're excited about him going back there.
