L'Avalanche salue le retour au jeu de Matt Duchene pour le match no 6

ST. PAUL, États-Unis - Le joueur de centre Matt Duchene a effectué un retour au jeu pour l'Avalanche du Colorado.

Le statut de Duchene pour le match no 6 de cette série de premier tour contre le Wild du Minnesota a été déterminé tout juste avant la rencontre, lundi soir.

L'entraîneur-chef Patrick Roy avait confié plus tôt lundi que Duchene devait obtenir le feu vert des médecins afin de participer à la séance d'échauffement, puis au match.

Duchene occupait un poste au sein du quatrième trio de l'Avalanche, afin de faciliter son retour au jeu. L'attaquant de 23 ans, qui fut sélectionné au troisième rang de la séance de repêchage de 2009, a raté un mois d'activités en raison d'une blessure au ligament collatéral médial du genou gauche. Duchene a mené l'Avalanche avec 70 points en 71 matchs de saison régulière.
