PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Nicklas Grossmann was injured early in the second period and did not return to Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round series against the New York Rangers at Wells Fargo Center on Friday.
Grossman, who left this ice for the locker room, got tangled up with Rangers forward Derick Brassard before crashing into the left-wing corner legs first.
Grossman was assisted off the ice with 14:35 remaining with a lower-body injury.
The Flyers won 2-1 to tie the best-of-7 series 2-2.
